Battalion Chief Brian Daniel was born and raised in Bowdon, Ga. Daniel was a graduate of Bowdon High School and had a desire at an early age to serve as a firefighter. Daniel applied the week following his high school graduation to the Carrollton Fire Department and was hired in November of 1995. Daniel has advanced through the ranks over his past 27-year career and was appointed to his current position as Battalion Chief over C-shift in 2022. Daniel has attained numerous certifications during his career and is currently pursuing a Fire Science degree with Columbia Southern University.

   “I feel that being a firefighter is a calling. There are sacrifices that we make, but very few professions give you the satisfaction of knowing that you made a difference in someone’s life. As firefighters we have the enormous responsibility to respond to the needs of citizens and visitors of this city during what may be the worst times of their life. I am thankful to have the opportunity to serve the citizens of Carrollton with the firefighters in this department.”
